January is a great time to work on your gift closet and decide what items you want to gift this year and keep on hand for friends and family or even acquaintances that you feel led to give a gift to last minute.
Here are a few of our suggestions of what we keep on hand in our gift closet:
- Bags, Tissue Paper, Wrapping Paper and Small Cute Baskets: A simple way to elevate a gift is by putting it in a basket! We love baskets especially for baby shower gifts and housewarming presents. - Candles: This is such a versatile gift. It's a luxury gift that you can simply never have too many of! We love giving candles for every occasion - a candle makes a new home so cozy, a new mom loves a candle for a little self care and it helps complete a birthday gift. Two of our favorite candles in the shop right now are the Woodsmoke + Apple Candle from Farmhouse Fresh and the Petoskey Stone Candles from Devonian Coast. Both are classic scents that work for male or female.
- Shower Steamers: These are another luxury gift that work for any gift! A new mom will LOVE the idea that she can use those for some self care and they are also a thoughtful birthday gift.
