General Shop Information

We are a small gift shop that takes great care in providing you with quality, unique products, and friendly, personalized customer service. We are looking to build life-long relationships with our customers and hope that you will be one of them! We are making many changes to update our business and website. Please bear with us if you encounter any hiccups in the process, and let us know if there is anything we can do to improve our service.

We reserve the right to make changes and updates to the website regularly without any notification to the customer, including changes in what product features are, descriptions, pricing, etc.

If something you purchase is on back-order or out-of-stock, we will contact you via email immediately.

We want your shopping experience to be as easy and as enjoyable as possible! Please choose the items that you want, and add them to your shopping cart. Follow the steps given at check out.

Payment Information

We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover; as well as debit cards. We also accept payment through Paypal. If you have never used Paypal, please know that we chose to use Paypal for its safety and simplicity. You do not need a Paypal account to purchase our products through the website, just an email address and a credit card or bank account. Follow the instructions during check out and let us know if you need further assistance.

Shipping Info

Domestic ‚Äď Standard Shipping Here, at Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island, we ship USPS. We want to make sure your package arrives quickly and safely. According to weight and size, we choose the most secured and speediest option for your order. We use USPS Priority Mail to PO Boxes, Hawaii, Alaska, and US Territories.

NOTE: Orders take 2-3 days to be processed before shipment. This includes 2-Day and Next Day shipments. If this is a problem, please call 906.847.9980. We will work with you to accommodate rush orders. No extra charge, it could cost a lot for overnight shipping!

Destinations

Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island ships to all 50 US states and US Territories.  We are not able to ship to any foreign countries.  If you have a special request email us at manager@littleluxuriesofmackinac.com and we will try to accommodate you. 

Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island is not responsible for service transit time, as they are provided by the carrier, and may vary with package origin and destination, particularly during peak periods.

Sales Tax

Shipments to addresses in the state of Michigan will acquire an additional sales tax of 6.0%.

Completed Order Information:

Order Confirmation An order confirmation will be sent to you within one business day of placing your order. Make sure to check your spam filter; unfortunately, our emails may get stuck in your spam folder. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please call us 906.847.9980 or email manager@littleluxuriesofmackinac.com to confirm your order with us. 

Checking the Status of your Order: Once you receive your confirmation email, simply reply to the email or call us at 906.847.9980.  We are open daily May through October and in our off-season if you cannot reach us we will respond to your email or telephone call as soon as possible.

Changes & Cancellations: Call or email us right away if you need to make a change on your order.  Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island does not accept cancellation of orders. We apologize for any inconveniences.

Damaged Items Please check your package as soon as it arrives and let us know right away if something has arrived damaged.

Returns & Exchanges If you wish to return an item we offer store credit or exchange only for in-store purchases.

All SALE items and Special Orders are FINAL sale. 

RETURNS due to sizing issues or non-defective issues are to be paid by the customer. Shipping Fees will be required, see below.  If the issue was our fault or there was a defective item we will happily return/exchange free of charge

RETURN SHIPPING: If you are doing a full refund, the refund will include only the amount of the items purchased (not the shipping originally paid). 

Returns are processed once item is received back in our possession.

If you need to return an item, you need to contact with us in 14 days of when the item arrived to you.

You may choose any shipping method that you prefer to use.  We only ask that merchandise cannot be damaged in shipment.

Please note that we do not cover shipping costs to send back a returned item, as well as original shipping costs are nonrefundable.  Once we receive your returned package in good form, we will process your refund.  Again, you will only be refunded for the amount of the product(s) being returned, not for the shipping.

Gift Certificates

To order a gift certificate for that special someone, choose the amount you would like and add it to the cart. Make sure to enter the gift certificate recipient’s shipping address and email at check out! We will email the recipient a gift certificate and an online code in the amount that you ordered, for them to use on our site.  Your girlfriends, sister, or mother would love a gift card to do what they do best, shop!

Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island Handbag Policy

The Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island handbag is an exclusive handbag only available for purchase at Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island.  Exchanges cannot be made through Jenna Kator Collection, only Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island.

Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island allows a warranty claim up to 30 days from the customer’s date of purchase for ONLY manufacture defects - material blemishes and/or scratches DO NOT fall under this category.  Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island will first try and fix the defect and if the product cannot be fixed, then a replacement or future merchandise credit will be issued.   Non-damaged exchanges must be within 14 days of the dated sales receipt.  Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island does not make refunds, only exchanges or store credit is given.  Non-damaged products must have all tags attached and not have been used.  It is up to you, the customer, to pay for all shipping charges and for your security, please return your merchandise with an insured courier and retain your receipt since Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island is not responsible for items damaged or lost while shipping.   For discounted items all sales are final sale and the warranty is no longer valid.

For all warranty claims and exchanges a return authorization (RA) number will be issued and valid for 14 days. Once the merchandise is recieved by Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island the customer will be notified and the inspection process will begin. If the merchandise is not recieved within 14 business days, the RA number will expire and cannot be reissued. Merchandise will not be accepted if a Little Luxuries of Mackinac Island RA number is not clearly written on the outside of the box as well as on the copy of the sales receipt. Merchandise that does not meet these guidelines will be denied and sent back at the customer's expense.
