While the storefront sleeps a bit, the online shop stays moving. We've been planning spring arrivals, brainstorming new 'Island Girl' pieces, building our 2026 team, and refreshing the store displays.
The kids are deep into school routines and sports (which makes the winter go by very quickly!). Evenings have been gym nights, homework, and 'what's for dinner.'
Andrew and I have been balancing 'winter' life as he goes to the island frequently and I cart the kids around often, work on some house projects, try to maintain a clean house, and work on shop to-do's.
This season of life has us resetting and preparing for a busy spring and always hoping and praying it's going to be a successful, smooth one.
The boys' school spring break is the end of March and we are looking forward to some warmer temps and sunshine then!
We just experienced a VERY intense winter storm yesterday on the island. We haven't received mail for almost a week now. It's been a good old fashioned winter here this year! The islanders aren't complaining - we enjoy this and need this.
Thanks for being here. Spring will be here before we know it. Our opening date is April 24th. Until then, we'll be adding goodies to our online shop weekly.
