Outdoor February Bucket List

February is the time when we are all starting to get a little restless as we wait for the warmer weather to come! But winter, is in fact, still in full swing! We will still get a lot of snow up north this season. So it's time to get creative in what to do outside! It's as if the newness of winter has worn off. The boys are loving skiing and playing in the backyard, along with frequently using the hot tub!

I wanted to think of some creative activities that we could do as a family before the winter is over to make some fun memories and if you know me, you know I love having a fun bucket list for us to do!

Above are some fun ideas that I want to try to do with them while we still have snow / colder weather.

Drinking hot cocoa outside is one of the boy's favorite things to do to stay warm and cozy while playing in the snow. I know that they would love creating an outdoor obstacle course with sticks, snow piles and whatever they can find! Doing a few outdoor art projects like an ice sun catcher or painting the snow red is just a fun way to be creative, while getting energy out. Star Gazing is always perfect on a chilly winter night. The stars always seem to sparkle just a little brighter on the chillier nights!

The website Run My Child Wild (https://runwildmychild.com/outdoor-winter-activities-for-kids/) had 100+ ideas of creative things to do with your kids, if you need more inspiration! Do you have a fun bucket list of ideas of things to do in the winter? I'd love to hear what you do with your kids when winter and snow seem to last forever.
