Many of the artists that I feature in the Artists Market create unique prints and illustrations. One maker in particular that does amazing screen printing on textiles and reclaimed wood is The Barn Social.
The Barn Social is a small business that is based out of Cadillac, Michigan. A husband and wife joined together to create a screen-printing team. Their daughter is their motivator and inspiration. They said, “Our prints tell a story; they are a mixture of vintage and modern aesthetics, made with loving attention and detail without sacrificing handmade imperfections”.
This power couple just recently opened up a retail store in Cadillac, Michigan called The Barn Social. It is a retail artist’s community. The store features products and services from local artists with national recognition and an emphasis on function.
