This was our second trip to Disney as a family. It was definitely easier the second time around since we knew where to go and more of the tips and tricks. A big shoutout to Kelsey Stiles (link) for helping us plan the trip and our friend Abby for helping us with tips while we were at the parks!
We stayed at the Beach Club Resort which is right on the Boardwalk on Disney Property. We flew into MCO airport in Orlando and Ubered to Disney. We did purchase the Lightening Lane passes for each day at the park but we probably could have gotten away with not doing it, but it is nice to have if the parks are busy it’s very helpful!

We got to the parks by 8am-8:30am so we could be first inside the parks for the rides. We were tired after lunch then and made our way back to the hotel usually between 2-3pm and went back after dinner or before dinner. It’s really easy to get around on Disney property when you stay on property. We all enjoyed Epcot a ton and it was walking distance from us. Tommy and Johnny went on their first fast roller coaster rides! We all enjoyed a Mickey Mouse Nestle chocolate bar (so good!) and we loved our first Happily Ever After fireworks show at Magic Kingdom!
I picked up my annual Christmas ornament for our tree wherever we vacation to and Johnny bought a Tigger stuffed animal and he joined us for the entire trip! When you do go to Epcot you have to go on the ride Soarin! It was very cool! Of course I screamed, but it was so fun! One of our favorite rides.
We had a character dinner at Hollywood and Vine which is a buffet and it was perfect for the kids. Kids love a good buffet! It is pricey but worth it when they get to meet several characters. We loved our hibachi lunch in Japan at Epcot also!
We are on our way home now and back to reality and our school work routines!
