If you don't have bikes with you, Marquette Park is a wonderful choice. There's plenty of green space to relax while your little ones roam and burn off energy. Plus, there's a playground tucked in the back that all kids love.
On the other side of Main Street, Windermere Point offers a scenic dining experience. Pack your picnic or order a hot dog from The Dog House and watch the ferry boats come and go. You'll have a perfect view of Round Island and the Mackinac Bridge from this peaceful spot.
If we're packing up a picnic, we love to set off on our bikes and find a quiet spot along M-185 near British Landing for an outdoor lunch. We seek out a peaceful location away from the crowds and settle in for a leisurely meal surrounded by nature.
