Lighting the Tree!

Posted by Nicole Doud on

Mackinac Island's annual Christmas Bazaar begins Friday, December 1st! The old-fashioned Christmas weekend kicks off Friday evening with the lighting of the tree on Main Street. There is nothing more classic than gathering around a community's Christmas tree singing Christmas songs and waiting for the tree to sparkle!
A pig roast dinner will follow the tree lighting at the Community Hall.
Saturday there is a silent and live auction, lunch and SANTA visits the children! Sunday, enjoy a prime rib dinner and a silent and live auction. Monday is the final day and it concludes with a big lunch and one more auction! All proceeds go to the Mackinac Island Medical Center and all of the churches on the island.
Come on out for some good ole' family fun on Mackinac Island this weekend!
Starline Ferry is the only ferry that runs this time of year from St. Ignace, MI. See schedule.
