Season sweet sixteen is in the books! I have to admit it was a season full of bumps. I am glad we made it through and can focus on just the online shop and planning for 2025. You never know how a season is going to end up, even when you think you have everything lined up and hope it's going to be amazing! But that's a business just like life. We are moving ONWARD and getting ORGANIZED!
The weather this fall was one we will never forget! I have never been on Mackinac with such warm temperatures in the fall. It was nice, but I am ready to bundle up and wear my cozy clothes!
We sent Bella, a manager and five year employee off to follow her dreams in late August. I miss her dearly but I am so happy for her new career with Delta! Allie, had her second baby the end of July. We are so happy for her growing little family! Allie does a lot for us! From marketing to website updates, to book keeping to photography, Allie does it all!
Allie and I will be attending market in Dallas this January instead of Atlanta and I am so excited! Time for a change.
The island is changing and staying the same in some ways, we keep adapting and keeping our mission the same - finding the simple delights for home and heart. I can't thank you enough for supporting Little Luxuries these past 16 years! Everything may not be perfect, but we are human and we keep training new employees and hitting new bumps in the road and trying to conquer them to give you our customers the best products and customer service!
We are now headed on vacation in two days and I have never been so excited! Time for us to get out of Michigan for a week :)
