Traveling on Mackinac with kids doesn't have to be tricky! Here are some of our family's go to spots for eating with our kids on the island.
Watercolor Cafe: The perfect breakfast or lunch spot for families, Watercolor Cafe is the perfect environment for family's and has a menu that everyone will love! The boys love having a smoothie from there - they are so filling! I also really enjoy their smoothies - try the Cranky Cure! It's made with strawberries, banana, peanut butter, cold brew, oat milk, vanilla vegan protein! Another favorite is their Peanut Butter Deluxe - it's creamy peanut butter, sliced banana and honey. It's a favorite and SO good! Your kids can probably split it and their smoothie if you are getting both.

Patrick Doud's Irish Pub: A great family friendly spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner is Patrick Doud's Irish Pub. The boys love having the hamburger - it really is SO good. The kid's menu is packed with delicious finds - we know your kids will be able to find something they like since it's stacked with the classic favorites!
Mary's Bistro: A great spot at the end of Main Street next close to Windermere is Mary's Bistro. It's a larger restaurant with plenty of room for family's to feel like they can relax and have a delicious meal. There is something on the menu that everyone will enjoy! The pizza's are definitely a family favorite. Plus, if you want a delicious appetizer, try the Draught House Soft Pretzels - you won't be disappointed!
Yankee Rebel: This is a family favorite! They are super family friendly and have an amazing kid's menu! The Lil' Rebel Burger or the Yankee Doodle's Noodles are always great go-to's for the picky eaters. Located right off Main Street, it's an easy spot to get to for when everyone is hungry and needs to eat immediately!
There's always Doud's Market or The Dog House for a quick outside bite to eat! If you grab food from Doud's Market, head to Marquette Park for the perfect place for the kid's to run off their excess energy! There's even a playground there for the kids to enjoy.
