Little Traverse Bay Candle Company was founded in January 2023 by Elliott Matelski, a student at Petoskey High School. He began making candles in 2022 after receiving a kit from his sister for Christmas. His scents are inspired by Northern Michigan and seek to capture, in a small way, what it's like to live Up North. When he's not pouring wax in his parent's garage, Elliott enjoys playing video games and sports, hanging out with friends or laughing with his family around the campfire.
