Tomorrow at 10AM our doors reopen as we enter our 4th year of business. In honor of celebrating three full years of business everything will be 15% OFF (in-store only) AND I will be making homemade cookies and serving a refreshing beverage just for you! I think each season while I am getting the shop ready I have to snap a cute photo of one of the dogs. Charlie took a quick visit last night to the store and kept me company. He looks like he’s having a lot of fun! 
This past December I visited one of the sweetest cottages in Northern Michigan. Kelsey, a new friend and artist for the store will be selling her beautiful one-of-a-kind pillows this summer. I first met Kelsey last summer at an art show and loved her work. Six months later, I still remembered her beautiful handmade pillows and thankfully found her business card. Kelsey remembered me and was happy to custom design a Mackinac Island pillow for Little Luxuries. Below are a few photos Kelsey snapped of her adorable home on Higgins Lake, MI. Kelsey makes her own curtains, light fixtures from salvaged items, and many more creative DIY projects. I love the wicker furniture she has that she spray painted red. Kelsey sure has a talent for design and beautiful handmade items.
I am looking forward to carrying her beautiful pillows and happy she let me share with you photos of her home.
Doud’s Market recently had new curtains hung along the large window in the front of the store. It looks great! Keeps the sun out a little bit in the morning and adds a warm, market feel. You will have to check them out when you visit next!
