You are probably wondering what REstyleSource is all about and all of the hype lately. REstyleSOURCE is the national guide to local shops, businesses, and restaurants. It was just launced in January. Their mission is to show beautiful photography in an editorial setting while telling readers where to find the items they see featured at a store near them. If you are traveling to a certain area, you can go to ‘City Guide’ and scope out some of the best local shops and restaurants before you arrive. REstyleSOURCE is so wonderful for small businesses in today’s world. Instead of going to the manufacture’s website, REstyleSOURCE only gives out where these great products can be found at local shops. The goal is to support small businesses and build healthy relationships with local businesses.

We added some color to the store last week! I said good-bye to the baby blue and hello to aqua breeze! A much more refreshing and crisp color. I had a team of painters from Doud’s Market helping me finish paint last week – it made the painting go by much quicker so we could keep moving along in other areas.
The rest of the floor is being installed today and tomorrow, electricians come tomorrow, the camera system will be installed this week and much more!
We’re getting there! I will share more photos later this week.

I am excited to share with you a new painting by Mary Lou Peters. I asked Mary Lou to create a card of Doud’s Market, America’s Oldest Grocery Store. I think it turned out beautiful! The card will be available at Little Luxuries beginning May 1st.
Not only does Mary Lou have some new card designs available at Little Luxuries this summer, she will also be in the store painting with us a couple times a month! I am so excited to have Mary Lou apart of the store and have our customers be able to meet her and watch her work. Dates will be posted soon for when she will be at the store with us!

Hello!
I wanted to update you on the store’s progress this week. Last Friday, the framing portion was completed and today the door and windows are in! There is now one main entrance door with a window on each side. Now, dry wall has to be completed and trim on the exterior part of the store. Hoping the flooring will be complete by next week as it arrives on the island tomorrow (weather permitting!) and then there’s much, more to do!! Hope you are liking what you see so far!

Today is a big day for me and Little Luxuries! Construction on the front entrance has begun! From the photos shown below you can see the two entrances from the existing two stores (inside of the stores and the outside), after this week there will be one entrance and two more windows added on each side.
