SIMPLE DELIGHTS FOR HOME & HEART
When I was in NYC this past winter my husband found one of my favorite things – homemade marshmallows!! This was not just a marshmallow made by KRAFT, this was entirely homemade and even the graham cracker was to. Check out S’mores Bakery website and see how Sara whips up these delicious sweets!
This weekend I thought a little bit more than usual about family and how grateful I am to have such a loving, supportive family. I always like to be positive by sharing things that inspire me, fun store happenings or whatever may ring a happy bell inside of me. This post is a mix; one year ago our family experienced a serious accident that my oldest brother was in. After a full year filled with a variety of emotions our family experienced, I am so very thankful our family has kept our faith as a priority. Mark is on his way to recovery still and we hope that one day he will be pain free. In the meantime, I pray for his health and most of all that he is here with our family and friends living the life he was given.
Wearing an apron, especially a super cute, frilly one makes baking so much more fun! Every female should own an apron, at least in my eyes! Even if you’re doing household chores it’s fun wearing an apron! A close friend of ours little girl got a new adorable apron for Christmas. She is only 3 yrs. old and she seems to be doing a fabulous job helping Mom bake cupcakes! 
In the summertime, these aprons fly out the door! The ladies are loving the retro look while working in the kitchen. Next time you are in the store try on one of our fancy aprons and hopefully you will take one home with you! We are looking forward to finding many more cute aprons with pretty designs and ruffles just for you!
Over the weekend I was suprised with one of the delicious homemade pies from Sweetie-licious Bakery. For my birthday we enjoyed Tom’s Cheery Cherry Cherry Berry Pie. I think I have decided the crumble crust is my favorite part of the little slice of heaven! I hope you are able to one day stop in to the sweetest local bakery I have ever visited. It really is a step back into time and puts a smile on your face!
