I’m not sure where this week has gone, but I am keeping very busy! Lauren, my employee for the season arrived this week. She is wonderful and ever-so sweet! More fun treats arrived: these fun wine glasses to the left, handmade photo frames, handmade embellished onesies {so cute!}, Vosges chocolate {to die for!}, Aspen Bay candles {customer’s fave is the Volcano scent}, and our brand new Little Luxuries’ canvas tote! {I think you will love these!}
I hope Mom’s who recieved a gift from Little Luxuries are enjoying there goodies! I had a great time helping customer’s pick out the right gift for Mom. 
This weekend is Zoo-de-Mac. Several bikers will be arriving on the island tomorrow evening and kicking back on Mackinac after a long, hard day of riding. See you all soon!

In honor of Mother’s Day tomorrow I thought I would share a photo of my mom and I. This was taken last summer during our family photo shoot by Andrejka Photography. Wish I could be spending the day with my mom, but instead, we will be doing a fun event in the shop {Pick A Posy}! Well, it is 12:55AM. I just returned from working in the store. It has been a busy, busy week! I have to ask myself what day it is even! {That is when you know the season has begun!} I am sure most people could finish my ‘to do’ list much quicker than I do, but I am a detailed gal that likes things done the right way, displayed in the perfect spot.
So many great treats arrived this week: antique silverware jewelry, Dash + Albert Rugs (and throws and totes), Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bags {in love with the bags!}, Jessie Steele Aprons, TOCCA perfume, cute baby socks, and more is coming!! The store is running out of room {and it’s only day 5 of being open}. Yikes!
