  I am small-town girl who loves anything country and enjoys a little bit of city life every now and then. I am easily inspired and love what I do. I live on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI year-round with my husband and two sweet dogs, Penny Lane and Charlie. I write about my little shop, things I am loving, and anything that may grab my attention.

    Thank you for the adorable gift bag prize yesterday! So AWESOME! I love all the products inside, they are all really unique, with really nice fragrances! I was wondering if there was a specific scent you sprayed on your tissue paper when you made the gift bag? We could smell it all day while walking around, and it was really nice! If so, I’ll be picking up next time i’m on the island! Thank you again!

    I visited your shop on May 26th and I loved it. I bought a bracelet for a friend its the ones made from Silverware. She loved it! I wish I had bought myself one. How can I go about getting one? I wont be up there anytime soon to visit. Can I get one mailed to me?

    Keep doing what you are doing because this shop is beyond fabulous! Visiting your store was a highlight on our trip. Thank you for the postcard at home (Ohio), what a lovely touch. I look forward to being able to do some online shopping with you! Will you be adding pictures of merchandise, etc. to the blog or have another website?

    I was on the island for the first time today and loved your store! However, I wasn’t able to gaze as long as I wished. So I am in need of your assistance. There was a display of fragrances on the left hand side of the store that I would love to know the names of. I hope to hear from you soon.

      So sorry I am just getting back to your response. Thank you for visiting our little store! The fragrance line you enjoyed is by Lollia. We carry six different scents in handcream, soap, bath salts, perfume and bubble bath. Let me know if you are interested in any of them. :)

    Hi Nicole: Do you sell your products on-line?? I was on a bus trip to Mackinac Island and in your store on 13 September. I really didn’t have enough time to shop since we were on a time schedule. I bought hand cream and soap for my daughter-in-law and now wish I would have gotten more. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Mary

    My very first time visiting Mackinac Island I was in Awe of the Beauty that surrounded the Island! The shops that my sister and I went into seemed to be just like the one before and really very boring, until we walked into your shop. It was warm, inviting, filled with so many beautiful things of variety that we were so impressed and took quite along time of Ooohing and Awe………Ing to decide what we wanted to take home with us and what we couldnt live with out. Spent quite a bit of money that day in there and couldnt get enough so we went back the next day for more. Had to buy another set of luggage to bring it all home with us to Oregon. Crazy! Ya but in a good feelin way! One more thing I must say is that Nicole the owner is so Sweet and helpful and oh ya Beautiful to boot!

    I was in your store over the weekend – I just love it! I bought some goodies, but passed on the Dash & Albert Throws and wished I wouldn’t have. I believe you had 3 or 4 left. Do you still have them? If so, could they be mailed to me and what is the cost of them?

    Nicole, i stopped in your store in October 2010. It is the BEST shop on the island. I wish there were more like it. the other shops on the island are tacky and i can only eat so much fudge. I look forward to another stay at the Grand Hotel and shopping at your store. Until then i’ll keep checking out you web-site.
